The National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia is a not-for-profit organisation representing more than 560,000 Colombian coffee growers behind the Juan Valdez brand, with a proud record of commercially successful fair-trading over 70 years.

Today the spirit of Juan Valdez lives on in Carlos Castenada, a 39 year old rural coffee grower from Andes in the Antioquia region of Colombia. Such is the importance of Juan Valdez as an international figurehead for the Colombian coffee market, Carlos was selected from thousands of possibles over a long period of decision to replace his predecessor who retired after 38 years

of office.

Visiting AVEX'07 on behalf of the FNC, he took time out to appear on the Eurogran UK stand, an acknowledgement of their prominent position in the vending industry as suppliers of Colombian Coffee under both the 'Le Royal' and 'Classic' labels. He is seen here with Mr.
