Corporate changes take UKAVSL into Europe   25/05/2006

It was announced today that the entire share capital of the company has been purchased by the Danish company Eurogran A/S. Michael Spangsberg, Group CEO made clear that Fekade Zewde would remain as UKAVSL managing director and would also take responsibility for the existing Eurogran operations in the United Kingdom.

UKAVSL is celebrating its twentieth anniversary year in the vending trade. Fekade Zewde commented “We at UKAVSL are excited by the prospects in store. The acquisition by Eurogran enables the company to safeguard the future of the St Helens plant by accessing the latest developments in product specifications for chocolates and whiteners.”

No changes in personnel are envisaged except that director Ron Stott, who was involved in the formation of the company and held financial and non-executive roles over the years will retire.
