N.H.S. IN-CUP BEVERAGE AWARD   16/02/2005

The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, as a continuing part of the NHS Supply Chain Excellence Programme named UK Automatic Vending Supplies Limited (UKAVSL) as an approved supplier of a wide range In-cup beverages. UKAVSL is contracted to supply all 6 of the Regional Distribution Centres of NHS Logistics. The contract award will apply for a minimum period of two years.

UKAVSL has been an NHS supplier since 1996 supplying, both branded and the company’s own Classic range of In-cup beverages. This award continues the supply of these products plus the exciting addition from “The Classic Fairtrade Collection” of Fairtrade coffee and tea.

UKAVSL became the first registered packer of Fairtrade In-cup beverages in August 2004. These high quality ingredients are presented in a specially designed generic box and a cup both clearly showing the distinctive FAIRTRADE Mark. UKAVSL Joint Managing Director Ron Stott commented, "This contract award represents an outstanding opportunity to benefit from the growing consumer awareness of Fairtrade products ".
