Former UK Director alive and well in Africa   22/01/2009

Ron Stott former Joint Managing Director of UK Automatic Vending Supplies Limited, until the company was bought out by Eurogran A/S in May 2006 is now living with his wife Berhane in Addis Ababa Ethiopia..

“I am turning doing nothing into a full-time job!” says Ron. Most of his time is spent on the 9 hole Addis Ababa Golf Course (par 35), where he admits to breaking 80 with increasing regularity.

Berhane was instrumental in promoting the formation of a charity: the Ethiopian Female Students Assistance Fund or EFSAF aimed at providing financial assistance to girls from rural areas studying at Addis Ababa University. The charity started operations last year and has established a web site www.efsaf.org

Ron enjoys the life in Addis, but misses his former regular work time allowance of in-cup Columbian white..
