Launch of the classic fairtrade collection   09/08/2004

UK Automatic Vending Supplies is pleased to announce the launch of its Classic Fairtrade Collection. In line with the company’s long-standing commitment to selling ethically traded products it entered into an agreement with the Fairtrade Foundation to register its own range of Fairtrade vending ingredients. The “Classic Fairtrade Collection” represents the company’s response to increasing consumer awareness of the Fairtrade movement’s objective to give Third World Producers a better deal. Pride of place is given to the innovative In-cup range. UKAVS is the first company to achieve registration as an In-cup packer. The ingredients available are Arabica Freeze-Dried Coffee, Hot Chocolate Drink and Leaf Tea, which are presented in a specially designed generic box and a cup both clearly showing the distinctive FAIRTRADE mark. Beverages sold “with sugar” contain Fairtrade sourced sugar. The Classic Collection is completed by the addition of pillow pack availability of Arabica Freeze Dried Coffee (10 x 300grm) and Hot Chocolate Drink (10 x 1KG) again presented in a specially designed generic box clearly marked with the distinctive FAIRTRADE mark.
