Twenty years of service to the vending industry 27/01/2006
1986 was the year of Chernobyl and Diego Maradona’s "Hand of God" goal, which put England out of the World Cup. Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister and President Reagan bombed Libya. In St Helens aside from the "Saints" winning the Championship and the Challenge Cup 1986 marked the start-up of UK Automatic Vending Supplies Limited (UKAVSL). Twenty years on UKAVSL is still trading and going from strength to strength. The company now occupies a pivotal role in the supply of ingredients to the vending industry.
Fekade Zewde, Managing Director of UKAVSL in welcoming the beginning of the twentieth anniversary year commented "The company will endeavour to mark its appreciation of the efforts of its employees and the support of its customers in suitable ways during 2006".
